With more than 35 years of experience in mechanical engineering and project leadership, Shawn has delivered complex projects across healthcare, education, residential, hospitality, and mission-critical sectors. His career includes major contributions to Kaiser Permanente, Cedars-Sinai, UCLA, and more than 350 buildings developed with Walt Disney Imagineering across the U.S., Europe, and Asia.
At Disney, Shawn served as Principal Project Engineer and Discipline Manager, leading the design of destinations including Disney California Adventure, Grand Californian Hotel, Shanghai Disneyland, Hong Kong Disneyland, Tokyo DisneySea, and Euro Disneyland in Paris. He also brings deep expertise in high-end restaurants and commercial kitchens, where system performance, ventilation, and guest experience must align seamlessly.
Licensed as a Professional Engineer in California, Florida, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, Texas, Illinois, and North Carolina, and a LEED Accredited Professional, Shawn applies this breadth of experience at Amadeus to strengthen project delivery with technical precision, efficiency, and design vision fully aligned.
Shawn is also the author of LEEDPASS, a widely used guide for the LEED New Construction exam. Having managed projects across the U.S., Europe, and Asia, he brings a global perspective and cross-discipline expertise that enrich Amadeus’s design process, advancing sustainable outcomes while mentoring the next generation of engineers.
